Getting Started

Supported File Types

Thanks to Autodesk's Forge translator, Moicon supports a whole variety of file formats. Infact we support upwards of 70 different formats. To know exactly what file formats are supported head over to Autodesk's translator documentation.

Translation may take some time depending on the size and complexity of the model and the service load.

Please note: .gltf files are processed by lambda computation, which may take some time depending on size and complexity.

We support Separate gLTF (.gltf, .bin, and texture files). This then produces a text-based JSON, .gltf file describing the overall structure. It comes with a .bin file containing mesh and vector data, and optionally .png or .jpg files containing textures used in the model. You can export your model to .gltf by using software such as Blender.

How to prepare a DWG AutoCAD 3D file for upload

It's important to explode an asset before exporting as 3D DWF. After uploading, please wait a while before the file will be processed.
