Getting Started

System Requirements

Your computer must have at least 8 GB of system memory and a graphics card that supports WebGL.
The system should use a non-mobile GPU with a minimum of 4 GB of video memory.

For best performance, especially when working with large or memory-intensive scenes, we recommend:

  • A graphics card with 6 GB or more of video memory
  • 32 GB+ of system RAM

Non-mobile GPUs generally offer better performance than mobile versions (often labeled with “m” or “mobile”).

To check for updates:

  1. Click the Apple logo
  2. On the Apple menu, click Software Update
  3. If there is a Mac OS X update available, you can install it. If there is a graphics driver update, it will be included in the Mac OS X update
